Abstract
Big book is a book that has a large size, writing, and pictures. The big book size should take into account the legibility of all students in the class. The big book is used by the teacher while he is doing the model reading or reading together. According to Karges-Bone (1992) for language learning to be more effective and successful, a big book should have a short story and clear sentence pattern. Many educational experts say that the big book is used in the early classes because it can help increase students' interest in reading.
