Abstract

intellectual capital and to know the models of intellectual capital that is ideal for improving the performance of business and excellence Compete in the global level of pharmaceutical industry. This is a qualitative research by using the interpretive approach. The techniques of data collection of this research are completed with in depth interviews, documentation, and focus group discussion (FGD). The validity of the data is done by a test of credibility and transferability test. The technique of data analysis used in this research is the data reduction analysis. The results of this research show that the formulation of management and development of intellectual capital is create value by doing knowledge management knowledge and brain power over; extract value by doing innovation management over prototypes of new products or service and maximize the value of intellectual property management with over competitive tools. Based on the formula of management and development of intellectual capital, it is known that the ideal models of management and development of intellectual capital is by using the Comprehensive Intellectual Capital Management (CICM).
