Abstract
This study examines the strategic and scientific importance of optimization algorithms, focusing on the Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) as a model. It addresses the need for fast, accurate tools to solve complex problems in energy, medicine, and artificial intelligence where traditional methods fail. The research analyzes GWO's behavioral roots in wolf pack hierarchy, its mathematical formulation, and its efficiency compared with competing algorithms. The study concludes that GWO's strength lies in its simplicity, reliability, and triple-leadership system (α, β, δ), which balances exploration and exploitation and avoids local optima, making it a key tool in modern engineering and AI applications.
