Abstract

The article develops a methodology for forecasting the development of the service sector and management efficiency based on econometric models. A comparative analysis of forecasting methods is conducted and the criteria for their selection are substantiated. As a result of the research, a five-stage forecasting algorithm, a system of forecast accuracy assessment indicators, and a forecast combination approach are proposed. A three-scenario forecasting model and a mechanism for linking forecast results to management decisions are developed.
