Abstract

Iraq is a country worthy of study in this field, given the significant economic and monetary transformations its economy underwent during the period (2005-2024). These transformations included exchange rate fluctuations, changes in inflation rates, and challenges facing economic activity, in addition to the impact of monetary decisions and internal and external economic variables on the Iraqi stock market. Furthermore, the selection of Saudi Arabia and Qatar provides a suitable basis for conducting a comparative study, due to the differences in their economic structures, the variations in central bank policies, and the levels of development of their financial markets. This contributes to analyzing the impact of monetary policy tools on financial market fluctuations and drawing conclusions that can be used to support financial stability and enhance the effectiveness of monetary policies.
