Abstract
In today's digitally driven era, media literacy has emerged as a crucial skill for navigating the complexities of the information landscape. The proliferation of social media, reality TV, and online news outlets has created a plethora of channels through which we consume information. However, this surge in media consumption has also raised concerns about the dissemination of misinformation, propaganda, and cultural bias. To address these challenges, media literacy education must be enhanced to integrate linguistic and cultural perspectives. This article argues that incorporating these perspectives into media literacy curricula can empower individuals to critically evaluate and engage with media in a more informed and nuanced manner.
