Abstract

In this article, an attempt was made to cover the activities of the Tatar-Bashkir enlighteners in the contemporary press in Turkestan. The aim of the colonizers of the Russian Empire to establish the press, the cooperation relations of the modern enlighteners with the Tatar-Bashkir developers on the way to the foundation of the national press were highlighted.
