Abstract

Penelitian tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter Religius di SMPN 2 Tarik ditinjau dari perspektif kitab Âdâbul ‘Âlim Wal-Muta’allim karya KH. Hasyim Asy’ari. Fokus penelitian pada pendidikan karakter karena program penguatan karakter sedang digalakkan pemerintah serta diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. metode penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi (penilaian sikap), kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk meneliti pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di SMPN 2 Tarik yang menggunakan kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian perpustakaan (library research) dengan meneliti konsep pendidikan karakter kitab Âdâbul ‘Âlim Wal-Muta’allim karya KH. Hasyim Asy’ari. Hasil penelitian yaitu pendidikan karakter di SMPN 2 Tarik sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik, namun keberhasilan penguatan karakter religius belum optimal. Penulis melihat pada saat observasi, masih ada peserta didik yang belum melaksanakan ṣalat tepat waktu dan berdoa di awal dan akhir pelajaran. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di SMPN 2 Tarik melalui proses pembelajaran, pembiasaan dan ekstrakurikuler dengan dibarengi partisipasi orang tua peserta didik menerapkan karakter yang baik di rumah. Sebagaian besar dari peserta didik memiliki karakter yang baik, tetapi masih ada beberapa anak yang belum berkarakter baik dan masih dalam bimbingan bapak/ ibu pendidik di SMPN 2 Tarik.. Pendidikan karakter yang sedang dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Tarik sejalan dengan ajaran kitab Âdâbul ‘Âlim Wal-Muta’allim, meskipun dalam pelaksanaannya karakter religius yang tertinggi pada pendidik adalah membersihkan diri dari akhlak yang tercela dan membangun akhlak mulia sedangkan yang terendah adalah menyibukkan diri dengan mengarang, meringkas, dan menyusun karangan. Nilai karakter religius yang menonjol pada peserta didik adalah menerima sesuatu dari guru dengan tangan kanan serta nilai terendah pada butir Ikhlas karena Allah Ta’ala dalam belajar. Dari segi materi kitab Âdâbul ‘Âlim Wal-Muta’allim adalah ada tujuh konsep nilai karakter yang belum ada pada materi di mata pelajaran PAI dan budi pekerti yaitu qona’ah, bijaksana, percaya diri, fokus, teguh pendirian, zuhud, murah hati. Hasyim Asy’ari in Âdâbul ‘Âlim Wal-Muta’allim Faculty : Postgraduate Program , Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo Study Program : Educator Management Islam Research on implementation of religious character education in Junior High School 2 Tarik in terms of perspective of the book Âdâbul ‘Âlim Wal-Muta’allim by KH. Hasyim Asy’ari. The focus of this research are on religious character education because the strengthening of character programs is being encouraged by the government and integrated in the learning process in school. The research method is qualitative descriptive analysis. Techniques of collecting observation data, questionnaires, interviews and documentation were used to examine the implementation of character education at SMPN 2 Tarik using the 2013 curriculum. The type of library research by examining the educational concept of character from the book of Âdâbul 'ÂlimWal-Muta'allim by KH. Hasyim Asy’ari. The result of this research is character education at SMPN 2 Tarik has been done well, but the result of religious character strengthening not optimal. The author can see at the time of observation, there are still student who have not done ṣolat on time and pray at the beginning and end of the lesson. Implementation of character education in SMPN 2 Tarik through the process of learning, habituation and extracurricular with accompanied parent participation apply good character at home. Most of the students have good character, but there are still some students who have not good character and still in the guidance of teachers in SMPN 2 Tarik. Character education that is being implemented in SMPN 2 Tarik in line with the teachings of the book Âdâbul 'ÂlimWal -Muta'allim, although in practice the highest value of religious character that exists in teachers is to rid oneself of disgraceful character and build noble morals while the lowest is to occupy oneself by composing, summarizing and composing essays. The value of a prominent religious character in the students is to receive something from the teacher with the right hand and the lowest score on the point of Ikhlas because Allah Ta'ala while learning. From the material side of the book Âdâbul 'ÂlimWal-Muta'allim there are seven concepts of character values that have not existed in the material on the subject of PAI and the character of qona'ah, wise, confident, focused, firm stance, zuhud, generous.
