Abstract

In this study, researchers aimed to obtain empirical facts about the Management of Islamic Boarding School Student Curriculum in Manarul Islam Pasuruan. There are several points to be stated, among others; education curriculum, teaching system, development strategy, graduate quality, to management evaluation. This research is a study that uses qualitative methods, namely to obtain an explanation of a process, which can produce findings that are more meaningful, and there are some findings that were unexpected. This research was conducted at the Islamic Boarding School Student Boarding School of Manarul Islam Pasuruan. Data collection is done by interviews, documentation, and in-depth observations. Triangulation of data sources and methods was used to analyze the validity of this study. Based on the discussion, the results of the study are as follows: First, students who study at Pesma Manarul Islam are college students in the Pasuruan area. Second, the competence of the teacher's preacher is given priority, especially those related to the science of the Qur'an and Arabic Literature. Third, the curriculum applied is a combination of salafiyyah and modern so that it can be useful in social life. Fourth, part of the learning and teaching process is held in a mosque that can enhance the religious culture of the students. Fifth, students are also involved in the committee in the mosque event, it is expected that Satri can also instill management attitude in social life later, Sixth, the methods and models of the Ustadz are right on purpose and appropriate so that it is very supportive of the curriculum that is in effect, Seventh, management of Pesma Manarul Islam classified as good, because it can improve the quality of Islamic education of students both studying in religious tertiary institutions and those studying in public tertiary institutions and of course the surrounding community.
