Abstract

In this study describes the results of the observation was done in SMP YPM 3 Taman Sidoarjo. The research was implements the difference of learning value score before and after using the media picture series to teach writing procedure text for the nine grade at SMP YPM 3 TAMAN SIDOARJO. In this study, researchers conducted a quantitative approach with a true experimental method that is done on 50 students from 2 classes and each class number of 25 students. The data collection technique use was a test data writing procedure text using picture series. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that the average value of pre-test students for 65.40 while the average of the post test score of 82.20 So, it can be stated that the results of pre-test value <post test or 65.40<82.20 which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected. So it can be concluded that there is Effect of learning by using picture series media to teach writing procedure text in SMP YPM 3 TAMAN SIDOARJO.
