Abstract
Character Education (Character Building) is believed by many parties can be a solution to the problems of society. Pedestal community to resolve this issue boils down to education, so that the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo contribute to solve the problems of society by implementing character education through courses Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan for Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (PKMU) with a model of the hostel for two days and one night. In peaksanaannya awarded student of religious knowledge and religious practice directly. Starting from the obligatory prayers, prayers and chanting tahajut. Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan expected to provide supplies for students in the form of religious understanding has niali-character values such as honesty, discipline, courtesy and cleanliness. The research method is quantitative researchers. Data analysis techniques that researchers use is descriptive statistics. Descriptive statistics are statistics used to analyze data in a way to describe or depict the data that has been collected as it is without intending to apply to general conclusions or generalizations. (Sugiono: 2013) with the presentation of data through charts, graphs, pie charts, pictogram, calculation mode, median, mean, calculations deciles, percentiles, the calculation of the distribution data by calculating the average and standard deviation, percentage calculations.
