Abstract

The objectives of the study was are to know whether there is any errors in using conditional sentence or not, to identify and classify kinds of errors on the use of conditional sentence, and to find out the most common errors on the use of conditional sentence at the twelfth of class students of SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo in the academic year of 2018/2019.To achieve the objectives of the study, the writer conducted a case, field study, and quantitative research. The result of the test showed that that there is error on the use of conditional sentence among of twelfth grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo.The highest score of the subject is 99 and the lowest score is 41. The mean of the result is 68.27. Although there is subject who get best score, but there is also subject whose score is so low. According to the test grading, the grade of the score is only in the grade B-. Keywords: Error Analysis, Conditional Sentence, Quantitative Method
