Abstract
In some these dasarwarsa, there is a trend change in voting behavior among the students, people tend to choose the students who used religious educational institution, is no longer always the case, they prefer the general education institutions than the religious educational institution. Especially public education institutions based on Islamic values on a purely religious institution. Changes in voting behavior of these institutions are caused by changes in the orientation of thinking among the students more rationally, not only personal, but also communal. In education, as well as economic and political rationality that emphasizes personal interest is something natural. On the other hand, educational activities not only rely on rational individuals, but also there is a common goal to do even though sometimes sacrificing the interests of individuals or groups. The process is adaptive to the interests of the wider community, to make wholesome education for the benefit of the wider community and not just the competition of individuals or groups to maximize economic benefits. In the theory of Rational Choice Perspective and Bounded Rational, the balance between "rational choice" and "adaptive action", making the voting behavior of students of the educational institution of society is determined. Optimal balance gives a big advantage for voters and education providers, by making the process of selecting educational institutions remain attractive for all parties. While the inability to create a balance, will make education become destructive to the interests of the community.
