Abstract

SWOT analysis is an analysis used to identify some internal and external factors that can affect the survival of the organization, from the analysis that has been done can be obtained an assessment that shows the magnitude of the influence of strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats to organizational activities, so that organizations can optimize the strength and opportunities that exist in order to anticipate and minimize the weaknesses and threats that are owned. This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and to formulate strategies that can be applied to the District Health Office Sidoarjo. In research using qualitative descriptive research approach, with data collection methods used are observation, documentation, and interviews of respondents existing in the internal environment of the organization. The results of this research are the right strategy to be implemented is the development strategy, among others, by making efforts to increase the number and ability of employees according to specification of skills required so as to improve the performance of employees and the quality of existing services, the addition and optimization of training and development in order to improve employee performance, given to employees in order to increase employee loyalty to the organization.
