Abstract

This article studies the long-run equilibrium between output and employment in the Kashkadarya region using cointegration analysis methods. The study uses extended Dickey–Fuller (ADF) unit root tests, Engle–Granger and Johansen cointegration tests, a long-run equilibrium equation, and an error correction model (ECM) based on annual data for the period 2000–2024. It is proven that there is a statistically significant cointegration relationship between output and employment and that short-term deviations are quickly corrected.
