Abstract
Primary education, as the first stage of the continuous education system, plays a crucial role in shaping the personality of schoolchildren. During this period, students begin to develop attitudes toward society, respect for social values, and a sense of responsibility. This article analyzes the pedagogical and psychological foundations for fostering social responsibility among students inthe primary education process. Special attention is given to the role of schools and teachers in shaping responsible citizenship, the relevance of educational content to societal needs, and the effectiveness of school-family collaboration. The research isbased on the analysis of existing scientific and theoretical sources, classroom observations, and methods of comparison and analysis. The article concludes with practical recommendations aimed at enhancing social responsibility in primary school students
