Abstract

Internalization of character values is where a person's efforts to realize a value that can become a part of every person. The background to writing this research is to explain how to instill the application of leadership character values in elementary school students and how these leadership characters are implemented in schools through extracurricular scout activities. The purpose of writing this research is to see how the instillation of leadership values can be embedded in students through mandatory extracurricular activities in elementary schools. The author of this study used a descriptive quality method. This research also analyzes the leadership character values of elementary school students through scout extracurriculars. More specifically at SD Negeri Wonomlati. This data collection technique uses interviews, observation and documentation. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The subjects of this research include the school principal, head of curriculum, scout leaders and students. The results of this research can show that the values instilled can grow and be lived through scout activities at SD Negeri Wonomlati, namely discipline, responsibility, courage, love of nature, leadership and socialization in the surrounding environment Keywords: Internalization, Leadership Character Values, Scout Extracurriculars
