Abstract

The process of foreign words entering different languages and acquiring vocabulary is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that has occurred in different historical periods. The influence of one language on another, especially in the case of Turkisms in English, provides valuable information about the development, assimilation, and adoption of languages over time. This article examines the interpretation of Turkish loanwords in English and sheds light on the mechanisms and historical conditions that contributed to their integration.
