Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the tourist satisfaction level upon the charms of nature and to categorize which appeal should be preserved, enhanced, and even less to gain efficiencies. The method used in this research is a descriptive one. The population in this study is the visitors of Tawangmangu Karanganyar, Central Java. A total of 276 visitors have been selected into the sample with accidental sampling technique. To know the position of every category of tourist attraction used the technique "importance performance analysis". The results showed that the visitor satisfaction average level is above 3 (moderate). While the other attributes, such as order, cleanliness, transportation, and visitor services included in the quadrant of "need to be repaired". The attributes of beauty, security, cool, friendly, location, comfort, and parking is categorized into quadrants "needs to be maintained". While the memories of attributes, the price of admission, supporting facilities, the number of attractions, restaurants, souvenir, promotion, tour guide included quadrant "should be improved but not urgent". Attributes inn is located in quadrant D which indicates that the inn in the natural attractions of this is excessive, it is necessary arrangement or even a reduction.
