Abstract
The article addresses the development of documentary cinema in Uzbekistan within the framework of strategic objectives in the field of cinematography, focusing on the creation of the programmatic film series “Living History” through the means of feature and documentary films. Historical experience, traditions, and the continuity of creative heritage by the younger generation of documentarians are examined using films about prominent figures of the Jadidism movement as an example. Particular emphasis is placed by the author on the analysis of the film “Armon”.
