Abstract

The article aims to provide a general overview of the role of social communication in the development of food products and cultivation technology for food-producing plants at the village level which can contribute to strengthening and protecting local food security. The method used is a study of relevant references. The implementation of environmentally friendly agronomy is a technology that must be well disseminated to the farming community and food plant cultivators. Social communication must utilize various communication media, involve training and workshops on sustainable agronomic practices, involve the participation of all stakeholders, utilize modern communication technology, and carry out monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of social communication programs. Implementation of effective social communication at the village level will contribute to strengthening and protecting national food security.
