Abstract

This research aims to find Trichoderma biological agent fungi that can be used for the cultivation of environmentally friendly agricultural crops and have the potential to substitute for the use of chemicals, especially in fertilization, through a series of isolation, determination and formulation of this fungus as well as limited testing on one of the pak choy test plants. The methods used include soil sampling and identification of biological agents, formulation of biological fertilizers, limited performance testing of biological agents, and projected application of biological fertilizers. The biological agent fungus obtained was Trichoderma sp. isolate Tc-046, was able to increase the growth of plant height and number of leaves by 9.9% and 11.6% respectively. This biological agent isolate has the potential to be formulated as a biofertilizer and can be applied as a fertilizer in environmentally friendly cultivation. This biofertilizer can be produced jointly between farmer groups and the Agrotechnology study program at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) which is supported by the UMSIDA Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory.
