Abstract
This article examines the effectiveness of online learning in developing B2 level students' speaking skills. With the widespread availability of online education platforms, learners at the B2 level now have access to a variety of resources, tools, and interactive activities that can enhance their speaking proficiency. The study investigates the impact of various features of online learning, such as speech recognition technology, virtual simulations, collaboration tools, and real-time communication with instructors, on the development of B2 students' speaking skills. Additionally, it explores the role of personalized goal setting, continuous assessment, and feedback in promoting speaking fluency and accuracy. The findings suggest that online learning providesa conducive environment for B2 level students to practice and refine their speaking skills, offering opportunities for targeted practice, self-paced learning, and authentic communication. The article concludes with implications for educators andrecommendations for optimizing online learning experiences to further enhance B2 students' speaking proficiency.
