Abstract

. Biopesticides are the right solution to overcome the growth of pests on plants during the plant growth process. Biopesticides are also included in trichoderma biological fertilizer which is applied by spraying them on plants. This research aims to find out how effective biopesticides are on test eggplant plants. The methods used include isolation and identification of biological agents, formulations, performance tests, as well as describing the projected use of Trichoderma biofertilizer-biopesticide for protecting durian and coffee seedlings. The biological agent fungus determined is Trichoderma sp. Tc-052. The application of a bulk solid formula with biocarrier material effectively helped the growth of eggplant seedlings as test plants by increasing the height and number of leaves by 63.05 and 25.93% respectively. This Trichoderma biopesticide has the potential to be used to protect the health of Wonosalam specialty durian and coffee seedlings through monitoring air temperature and humidity data, fertilizing seeding media and spraying Trichoderma biopesticide, as well as regular and consistent monitoring.
